Commercial Zipline Concept Design & Technical Consulting

This service is for owners who intend to build a commercial zipline or Zip-Curve attraction using their own contractor, fabricator or local installation team, but need Zip-Rush to transform a selected alignment into a coordinated system concept and operating approach.

Zip-Rush provides concept design and specialized technical consulting. Zip-Rush is not acting as the project's architect or licensed professional engineer. Structural, foundation, platform, permit and other regulated drawings must be prepared, reviewed and sealed by qualified professionals where required.

The Coordinated Concept Design Package

The Site Evaluation/Survey establishes whether an alignment is workable. This design service takes the project further by coordinating the attraction's principal systems and preparing a practical design basis for the client's architect, engineer, fabricator and installer.

Professional Fee and Purchase Conditions

Professional fees start at US $5,000. The store displays a rounded starting charge in Canadian dollars. The final scope, currency and exact fee are confirmed in writing before purchase.

• The payment is a non-refundable professional design fee once work begins.
• If Zip-Rush later supplies and installs the project, this initial fee may be credited only when that credit is expressly stated in the subsequent supply-and-installation contract.
• This product must not be purchased until Zip-Rush has reviewed the project and issued a written scope and price.

Starting Scope

Unless the written proposal states otherwise, the starting fee may include a coordinated concept-design package for:

• One commercial zipline or Zip-Curve concept
• One selected alignment
• A written design brief identifying the site information, assumptions, rider experience and operating objectives used
• Zip-Rush professional time for one site visit of an agreed duration
• A refined alignment, catenary, clearance and anticipated performance profile
• Cable, trolley and braking-system selection criteria
• System-interface requirements for coordination with the client's qualified professionals and construction team
• Preliminary reference locations and elevations for towers, posts or platforms, for development and verification by the client's qualified professionals
• Non-stamped 2D or 3D coordination drawings, as appropriate to the agreed concept
• A preliminary equipment schedule and technical specifications for the selected system
• An operating sequence and throughput concept
• Written coordination notes for the client's architect, engineer, fabricator and installer
• Preliminary project-cost range
• One presentation meeting and one consolidated revision
• Limited technical support during one review cycle by the client's qualified professionals
• Recommendations for the next engineering, procurement or construction stage

Design-package limitation: The coordinated concept-design package provides the technical basis from which the client's qualified professionals and construction team can proceed. It is not architectural work, licensed professional engineering, a stamped engineering package or final construction authorization.

Projects Requiring a Larger Scope

Additional lines, alternative alignments, major revisions, unusually complex terrain, complex structures, advanced Zip-Curve configurations, additional professional-review cycles or other work beyond the agreed starting scope require a separate quotation. The written proposal issued before purchase governs the actual deliverables.

What Is Not Included

• Architectural or licensed professional engineering services
• Structural, foundation or platform engineering
• Stamped drawings, permit drawings, final construction drawings or regulatory approvals
• Local code review by the authority having jurisdiction
• Surveyor services, verified field survey data, geotechnical investigation or soil testing
• Airfare, visas, itinerary-change fees, local transportation, lodging, meals and other travel expenses
• Equipment, fabrication, installation, installation support or training unless separately contracted
• Additional concepts, alignments, meetings, revisions or professional-review cycles beyond the written scope

Site Visit and Travel

Zip-Rush professional time for the agreed site visit is included in the approved design scope. Travel and third-party expenses are additional and confirmed before booking. If weather, access, permits, visas, transportation or another event outside either party's control prevents the visit, we will work with the client to reschedule. Non-refundable travel and third-party costs remain the client's responsibility.

Confidential and Proprietary Information

A non-disclosure agreement is required only before Zip-Rush shares proprietary drawings, calculations, systems or other confidential design information.
