The Zip-Rush HS Magnetic Trolley combines a heavy-duty trolley platform with a powerful, adjustable eddy-current brake. Developed primarily for steep, high-gradient zipline installations, it helps reduce rider speed without contact-based braking friction at the cable, supporting lower heat, wear, and maintenance demands. Its polyurethane wheels significantly reduce rolling noise and vibration while helping limit cable wear, creating a smoother, quieter rider experience.

Proven on the Roi-Et tower zipline

The HS Magnetic Trolley is used on the Roi-Et application, where the zipline reaches a maximum slope of 56%. This real-world installation demonstrates the trolley’s role in managing speed on an exceptionally steep commercial line while maintaining smooth, controlled operation.

How magnetic braking works

Eddy-current braking slows the trolley through magnetic resistance rather than a friction brake acting directly on the cable. This provides smooth, progressive speed control while helping reduce cable wear and braking-system maintenance.
